WEEKENDS ONLY! HIRING IMMEDIATELY - WEEKLY PAY

General Laborer - Solar Project - Paso Robles - $18-$20 (Part-Time / Weekends ONLY)

Labor Finders is currently looking to fill a position as a (Cal Flats) Laborer cleaning large solar panels; operating robotic solar cleaning devices / equipment. This work is done in an outdoor setting and candidates must be okay with working in all various weather temperatures / conditions. This is a project scheduled to last until October.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Consistent attendance on scheduled days
• Operate robotic coating applicators.
• Complete quality spot checks on coated panels to ensure applicator is operating correctly.
• Progress tracking and reporting to Site Foreman/Supervisor
• General laborer tasks such as lifting/carrying equipment and materials.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Play an active role in creating a respectful, inclusive, and safe work environment
• Complete all mandatory internal training.
• Handle alcohol-based coating solution, refilling bags, quality testing
• While working collaboratively, follows instructions and continuously improves personal job duties based on individual's strengths. Provides suggestions and data to leaders and colleagues who will review and approve proposed ideas.
• Operate UTV’s to transport crew and equipment around jobsite.

Environment and Physical Demands:

• Regularly exposed to outdoor on-site work setting on solar field
• Standing, walking, writing, and reading
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly, applicators need to be moved from tracker section to tracker section frequently.
• Work additional hours to complete daily quota/Not workdays of rain or high wind.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Pre-employment 10 panel drug screen.
• Preferred Experience: On-Site solar experience, Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Dress Code/PPE Requirements - OSHA approved electrical rated safety boots, Pants (no cuts/holes), Long sleeve shirt (no cuts/holes).
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
• Ability to commit to a project scheduled to last until October.
• E-Verify will be used for employment authorization purposes.

Previous experience in the following areas is not required but could be helpful (or any other hands on / physical work with machinery / equipment): construction, general labor, groundskeeping, window washing, agriculture / farming, ranch hand, solar, HVAC, equipment operating, coating / painting technicians, carpentry, installation, machine operation, industrial equipment tech, handyman, handyperson, maintenance, landscaping, and other similar work.
