General Manager – Protein Factory | Branston, Lincoln | £60,000 - £70,000

Do you offer...?

• Prior experience at a senior level, managing a sizeable team within a FMCG manufacturer
• The ability to engage, manage and develop a diverse workforce
• Proven capability of delivering against operational KPI’s as performance standards
• A firm understanding of Health & Safety standards in line with current requirements
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrable lean manufacturing experience

With recent investment and development, we’re looking for someone to help take our business to the next level; by growing our operation and product lines to expand into the world of protein. As it’s a relatively new role within a newly built plant-based ingredient factory, we’re looking for someone who can take control whilst putting their own stamp on the role.

As a General Manager, you’ll work closely with the Innovations Director to plan, develop, and help aid growth. Coming from an environment that is fast-paced and focused on process control operations, it’s essential that you understand the nuances of food manufacturing industry. You’ll demonstrate that you’re a natural leader with strong leadership skills, who’s prepared to work hard and develop your career within an ever-growing business.

The role...

As our next General Manager, you’ll be responsible for the plant’s operations; managing raw material, production, quality, and HSE. Working in a small team, you’ll be responsible for the P&L of the site; managing budgetary and cost responsibilities. Demonstrating resilience, organisational skills, and compliance, you’ll oversee the daily production of all customer orders from intake to despatch. Whilst no direct experience with potatoes is necessary, it will definitely help you to thrive and deliver.
