Girls Basketball, Varsity Head Coach,

JV and Middle School Girls Basketball Coach Opportunities Also Available!

Our Imagine Charter School basketball program is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our Varsity Girls Basketball Team.

Minimum qualifications: 2 Years successful head coaching experience; or multiple years of Assistant Head Coach experience may be considered.

● Teach the fundamental skills of your specific sport, including teamwork, techniques, strategy, and Character.

● Train each Student/athlete in physical conditioning, and develop an off season program.

● Provide guidelines about health and safety

● Identify the strengths and weaknesses of each team member (“know your team”)

● Conduct practices and games so that all members have an opportunity to improve their skill level

through active participation

● Advise players about rights, responsibilities, and team expectations

● Promote fair play and good sportsmanship, “Character”

● Communicate with parents about team expectations, schedules, and parent support

● Observe rules, regulations, and program philosophy as identified by School and FHSAA

● Cooperate with School administrators in the conduct of the sports program

● Report all injuries to administrators and parents immediately

● Return all equipment and other material provided by School at the end services and report any defective equipment immediately

· Overseeing all aspects of the program.
· Ensuring all student athlete paperwork is completed correctly and submitting to Athletic Office.
· Ensuring sure all students maintain GPA requirements as per FHSAA
· Scheduling and leading parent meetings, organize parent involvement
· Input of statistics in timely manner
· Inventory & ordering of equipment, and uniforms
· Providing direct communication/updates to parents and athletic department
· Contact media with scores and updates
· Use social media appropriately and in a professional manner (see social media policy for details)
· Must attend all in-season games and off season workouts as scheduled
· Ensure all facility buildings/gates are locked upon exiting
· Stay with athletes until picked up/do not leave
· Organize fundraising opportunities

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $1,500.00 - $3,000.00 per year
