This is an exciting opportunity to work in a World Top 100 University in the Department of Global Engagement. We are recruiting an administrator (fixed-term for three years) to support the work of the Global Opportunities & Exchanges team. You will use your skills to make an impact on the experiences of students participating in international mobility.

You will provide administrative and pastoral support to our global university exchange schemes, short-term and summer school opportunities. We are seeking candidates with experience in customer service and who have strong communication skills: the role will include liaison with students and parents from the UK and overseas, overseas partner institutions and internal colleagues in academic departments and professional services, by telephone, email, virtual meetings, and face to face. You will coordinate promotional events and activities, including social media, to raise the profile of Global Opportunities and encourage participation amongst students from a diverse range of backgrounds.

You will also have administrative experience and attention to detail: you will be required to manage a high volume of email enquiries, maintain data and information, keep financial records and issue grant payments, organise meetings and events, and prepare detailed information and briefings for international mobility participants.

This is a varied role and we are seeking strong team players with a good understanding of the international higher education environment.
