GM/Chef Manager
Britt’s Bar & Grill is looking for a GM/Chef Manager role to join our team in Treasure Island, Florida. We are looking for a talented GM/Chef Manager to take this restaurant to the next level.
The food operation at this location consists mainly of pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads, and appetizers. The kitchen consists of 4 main stations: oven (coal fire), grill, appetizer/salad and pizza.
The right person must have experience in a fast-paced setting with the ability to lead a very challenging staff. We are open 7 days a week. Weekdays 11am – 10pm and Weekends 11am – 11pm (open later depending on season/event). This is a great opportunity to help further the growth of our business. The GM/Chef Manager will be responsible for but not limited to:
· 50/50 split between Chef and GM duties
· Menu planning
· Ordering
· Inventory
· Food, Payroll and labor cost
· Managing and leading a team or 30+
· Client/Vendor relations
· Consults with HR Manager on employee issues
Key Duties
· Provides team leadership & training
· Directs daily food operations for quality & safety standards
· Supervises day to day activities
· Delegates authority
· Assigns & prioritizes activities
· Monitors operating standards
· Establishes a safe work environment
Qualifications & Experience:
· Food/beverage knowledge
· Skilled in menu development
· Food Prep and safety certification
· Food cost control specialist
· Menu price structuring familiarity
· High Volume production
· Ability to handle fast-paced environment
· Inventory control and record keeping
· Customer-oriented
· Strong Leadership/Management skill set
· Adaptable
· Staff Training/Development
· Chef: 5 years (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
