Job description
The Outside Service Staff works outside the golf operations department, supporting members and guests to transition between the clubhouse and the golf course. Primary responsibilities include professional communication and service with members and guests, loading and unloading golf bags, cleaning and parking golf cars, and maintaining the driving range. Staff attendants must be neat and well-groomed according to Sun Valley Company Standards. This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with members and guests at a high level.
Essential Duties:
- Customer Service – providing memorable, friendly, and positive interactions with members and guests in a fast-paced environment
- Golf Cars – Cleaning and parking with close attention to detail
- Golf Bags – loading and unloading on golf cars, storing golf bags in storage racks, cleaning clubs
- Driving Range – set up, restocking, and breaking down the range facility daily. Collecting and washing golf balls with machinery and by hand.
- Communication – clearly and positively communicating with the shop staff, coworkers, and guests
- Cleanliness – constantly maintaining the Work Area, including the cart barn, cart staging area, and range facility
Qualifications:
- Must be able to communicate in the English language
- Priority Employment to candidates who can work all of June, July, August, and September
- Able to stand for over 6 hours
- Able to lift 70 pounds
- Able to operate golf cars and range equipment
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Driver’s License or equivalent
