Position Summary:

As a Golf Shop Assistant you are responsible for all duties related to the operation of the golf shop. Those duties include, but are not limited to, opening the golf shop on time, greeting guests of Edgewood, checking in golfers, taking tee times, answering phone calls, selling merchandise, assisting guests with information, keeping the golf shop tidy, closing the golf shop and register in accordance with company policies. Essential Functions:

• Perform Daily Opening and Closing Golf Shop procedures.
• Greet, check-in and assist the golfing guests of Edgewood.
• Assist with the execution of golf groups and events.
• Answer the golf shop telephone in a friendly tone and with the required greeting.
• Book tee times accurately.
• Straighten, clean and restock merchandise as needed.
• Monitor golf shop GPS for speed of play. Take appropriate action when issues are identified.
• Communicate with cart staff and marshals in a professional manner.
• Greet all customers upon their first arrival to the golf shop.
• Follow Edgewood Tahoe’s Uniform and Grooming Guidelines
• Communicate with maintenance crew about daily pin placements, course projects and cart path rules.
• Always check the Edgewood Events Schedule and be aware of all property events and activities.
• Be knowledgeable of Edgewood Tahoe range, golf shop, restaurant, sports bar and snack bar hours and amenities.
• Unbelievable guest service is our number one priority.
