Castle Rock Construction Company of Colorado, a Heavy Highway Construction company, is currently seeking a Grading (Earthwork) Superintendent immediately!

Job Qualifications:

We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Grading (Dirt) Superintendent.

Candidates must have at least 3+ years of experience with general grading, excavation, and roadway construction. Candidates must be self-motivated and willing to travel. Drug screen and physical check is required of successful candidates.

Essential Responsibilities:

Performs any combination of the following duties on construction projects.

Activities include but are not limited to:

• Ability to plan and manage construction activities for multiple crews based off of project plans, schedules, and provided cost data.
• Ability to supervise Foreman, set / communicate goals, and explain plans.
• Ability to manage cost and production of construction projects.
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Excel and email mostly.
• Obey and follow all safety rules on the job site and ensures others to do the same
• Able to maintain relationships both internally, with subcontractors, and with owners representatives in order to complete projects.
• General knowledge of heavy equipment operation including excavators, dozers, loaders, etc.
• Knowledge of routinely used tools and equipment

Physical demands of this position include lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally; as well as constant sitting, grasping and reaching, occasional climbing and walking. Must be able to work outdoors and travel as needed.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
