Join the #1 market leading cannabis company in Maryland. We’re hiring a seasoned Graphic Designer to join our team. We are looking for a team-player who will design a multitude of assets (print, digital, packaging and more) for both audiences that we market to: The end user (patients and customers), and our wholesale partners. While creativity and design aesthetic are important, it is equally important to have an understanding of each audience and what the call-to-action should be for the various materials. The Graphic Designer will uphold the standards of the Curio Wellness brands and will design materials that promote the Curio Wellness brand and its breath of products. The ideal candidate can provide a portfolio of design work relevant to the role.

What You’ll Do:

• Work both independently and collaboratively with marketing team to create and design a range of creative assets including print and digital ads, catalogs, brochures, presentations, in-store signage, eblasts, web banners, display ads, trade show graphics, social media posts and various other materials that support the brand strategy and business objectives.
• Understanding of and ability to work with product packaging die lines and production files
• Special projects as needed
• Collaborate cross functionally with marketing, sales, product innovation and other internal and external teams
• Understanding of the different audiences and how the call-to-actions
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects within design specifications
• Ensure projects are delivered with high quality and on schedule
• Perform retouching and manipulation of images
• Take creative assets from external creative agency and format for different use cases
• Support the People & Culture Team with employee-facing communications
• Translate project briefs into attractive visual concepts that are effective, consumer-friendly, and demonstrate an underlying knowledge of both the brand guidelines and strategic business goals.

What You'll Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS) in Graphic arts, design, communications or related field or four (4) years of equivalent job-related experience.
• Proficiency in Abode Creative Suite
• Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and the web
• Experience designing in a consumer goods, retail, and/or for the end-user
• Compelling portfolio of work over a wide range of creative projects
• Strong comprehension and communication skills

• Excellent eye for detail

• Ability to change priorities and work fast
• Experience with a team-oriented project management tool (such as Monday.com, Asana, Trello, etc)
