Role description

Opportunity within RWE Renewable business for a Production Manager to work within the Offshore Wind team at our Grimsby Hub on the Sofia Offshore Wind Farm project.

The Production Manager will be responsible for the delivery and planning of activities associated with Windfarm production and Health and Safety targets.

The role will liaise closely with the Grimsby Hub O&M Operations Manager and other Stakeholders. The principle role of the Production Manager is to manage the delivery of RWE Renewables UK Ltd and Wind Turbine Contractor staff associated with the Windfarm.

Principal Accountabilities, including but not limited to:

• Responsibility for a site team consisting of technicians and other disciplines associated with the O&M activities.
• Managing site operations to maintain excellent standards of Health and Safety.
• Target setting and development of team.
• Managing key sub-contractors to ensure the delivery of safe operations and production KPI targets.
• Strategy and Planning for delivery of O&M activities.

Skills and experience

• Significant experience / proven track record in a Similar role in the Wind or Power sector.
• Experience in managing windfarm production and output.
• Project management experience.
• Experience in setting and managing budgets.
• Demonstrate proven leadership qualities and the ability to establish and develop strong cross functional teams.
• Experience of Service Offshore Vessel (SOV) Operations.
• Knowledge of Safe Systems of Work both HV and LV systems.
• Knowledge and experience of Wind Turbine Safety Rules.
• Experience of Process and Service optimisation.
• Excellent Health and Safety awareness (NEBOSH General Certificate)
• Good communications, numeracy and IT Skills.
• Organised with excellent attention to detail.
