McDowell Mountain Animal Hospital in Scottsdale, “*_Where your pet becomes our family_*”, is currently hiring for a Grooming Apprentice position!

This is an entry-level position that requires a positive and friendly attitude, great client service skills, and a desire to compassionately care for animals.

The ideal candidate be a dependable, self-motivated, team player with excellent communication skills and an eye for detail with a desire to learn and the ability to accept positive criticism while honing their skills.

Responsibilities include bathing and drying patients, preparation of patients for grooming, cleaning and maintenance of the grooming area, confirming grooming appointments for the following day and assisting lead groomer with other tasks as may be necessary.

The job is demanding, but if you are willing to work hard this position can be very rewarding!

While previous animal handling experience would be helpful, we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude!
