With over 16 manufactured home parks primarily located in Saratoga County, and growing, we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team to help ensure excellent customer service at our parks.

We are currently looking to fill two Grounds Maintenance positions. The position is responsible for performing semi-skilled and/or technical types of work associated with landscape maintenance.

Job Qualifications:

· A minimum of 1 year experience in custodial / grounds services

· A minimum of 1 year experience in lawn care procedures and maintenance of lawn care equipment

· A good working knowledge of grounds equipment and procedures

· Must be 18 years of age

· Must have a clean driving record

· Good communication skillswith coworkers and home owners

· Skill in the use and general maintenance of hand, power and motorized tools associated with landscape maintenance such as blowers, tillers, trimmers, chain saws, mowers and other motorized equipment a must

· Skill and safe and proper operation of snow plows and snow blowers

· Ability to work independently with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the cultivation and care of landscaping grounds

· Clean and maintain hardscapes, pathways, roads

· Mow lawn by hand or by riding lawn mower. Trim and edge around walks, buildings, trees, shrubs, flowers, sidewalks etc..

· Properly prune, week, mulch and perform general horticulture maintenance.

· Be familiar with irrigation systems and be able to make minor repairs.

· Monitor landscapes for pest (weeds, insects and diseases) and inform supervisors of concerns

· Ensure proper care of assigned tools and equipment, perform maintenance on small equipment and notify appropriate supervisor of need for tool, equipment or vehicle maintenance repairs.

· Assist storm damage mitigation on trees as necessary.

· Perform snow and ice removal with plows, shovels, ice scrappers, de-icing salt etc..

· Knowledge of workplace safety procedures including appropriate personal protective gear

· Maintain facilities and grounds according to specifications for custodial/grounds maintenance as assigned

· Monitor and report any unsafe conditions
