The Perry Hotel combines exceptional service with upland hospitality experiences in order to create a destination with a nautical focus. The Perry Hotel is a 100-room boutique property that deftly balances modern design and amenities with the nostalgia and craft of a by-gone era.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Leads, in partnership with the Rooms Division Manager and Facilities Manager, both the day-to-day operations and respective team members.
• Provide support to Rooms Division Manager and Facilities Managers.
• Oversee and assist Pool Attendants and Front Desk Agents and be able to perform their functions.
• Become highly knowledgeable about our property, village outlets and services and the surrounding area, acting as an information resource for guests and team members.
• Respond to guest inquiries, requests and issues, ensuring they are resolved or escalated professionally, effectively and in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot, help maintain, and immediately report equipment problems to the Rooms Division Manager or Facilities Manager on duty.
• Help to ensure cleanliness, safety, security, friendliness, and an overall pleasant atmosphere throughout the Hotel.
• Facilitate seamless service and smooth operations, ensuring all team member duties/assignments are completed accurately and shift reports are completed and submitted daily.
• Become proficient in, and comply with, all company, safety, security, emergency and energy policies and procedures.
• Must be well groomed and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.

Required Training/Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must have command of the English language
• Effective time management and task prioritization skills
• Must be able to work flexible and extended days/hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Thrive in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest centric environment
• Basic mathematical skills
• Able to stand, sit and continuously move for extended periods of time
• Must be alert to the needs of guests and team members
• Able to lift 60 pounds
• Good hearing and vision with or without corrective lenses
