HealthFitness is looking for a substitute/as-needed Health Fitness Professional to cover when regular staff is unable to work. In this role, you will deliver health, fitness, and recreation programs and services. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to members and program participants to maximize participation, outcomes and customer satisfaction. Group fitness instruction opportunities are available for the right candidate.

Shifts that could require coverage - Mon–Fri shifts: 6:30am–12:30pm, 10:00am–2:00pm or 2:00pm–8:00pm Weekend shifts: 8:00am-12:30pm or 12pm-5pm.

What you’ll be doing

• Greeting, checking-in and assisting customers, provide program information services and membership information.
• Supervises facility; interacts with participants and monitors equipment and participant safety.
• Assist with all member service desk administration and processes, answer phones, and process membership enrollments.
• Efficiently responds to client and participant requests, comments or concerns and brings issues to timely and appropriate resolution.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

What you’ll bring with you

• 2+ years of industry experience and current certification(s) from a HealthFitness approved provider or an Associate's/Bachelor's degree in a related fitness field.
• Adult CPR/AED certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• Industry recognized Group Exercise certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT, NETA or other specialty certification required.
