We believe in treating the whole person, not just the condition. We are recruiting now for passionate and empathetic Health and Rehabilitation Assistants to join our new stroke ward at Westbrook House in Margate.

We’re at the start of an exciting journey to provide a specialist stroke rehabilitation unit for people in east Kent. Based in Margate, the inpatient unit will provide intensive therapy for people affected by stroke to allow them to get home safely and spend less time in hospital.

The ward will be nurse and therapy-led, with an emphasis on helping patients to reach personal goals. We’ve already recruited a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and dietitians to roles in the service. Now we need brilliant healthcare and rehabilitation assistants and qualified nurses who can provide the outstanding care we expect for our patients.

This isn’t just another job. This ward will be at the forefront of providing the best possible care to help people recover from stroke and continue to live their life. With your help, more people will be able to lead fully independent lives after a stroke.
