The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) is responsible for multi-tasking clerical and patient customer service support functions as part of the patient care team. The Health Unit Coordinator provides the connectivity between the providers, staff and inter/intra department areas through various modalities such as direct in-person communication, fax, phone, and computers. The Health Unit Coordinator assists the charge nurse and inpatient case management department with facilitation of patient care coordinator and flow.
This is a 36 hours per week position
