An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Neuro and Trauma rehabilitation Unit

You will have previous healthcare experience in an acute setting, a minimum knowledge level of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and be willing to undertake relevant further training including - Recording of Physiological Observations, IV cannulation, different dressing techniques, venepuncture, recording of ECG's and Immediate Life Support Course.
Successful applicants will work within the department and supporting the nursing staff.
The department operates full internal rotation.
Main duties of the job
- Be able to work collaboratively with all members of the MDT (Multi-Disciplinary Team) and to make referrals as appropriate
- To provide support and care for the patient and his/her family respecting their need for privacy and dignity
- To utilise highly developed clinical skills specific to speciality
- You will practice in accordance with the professional, ethical and legal framework for nursing
- Supporting the nursing staff
