Job description

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Call Center Representative to join our team in NYC, NY. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and be bilingual (facility-specific) in order to provide excellent customer service to patients who may speak different languages. This is a temporary position for a 13-week duration.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule appointments and reminder calls to patients.
• Book and reschedule clinic appointments.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding their clinic appointments.
• Answer incoming phone calls using in-house phone systems and pagers, and make overhead announcements as necessary.
• Perform additional assignments as needed.
• Utilize extensive phone experience and computer literacy to effectively communicate with patients and co-workers.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in a call center or similar customer service role.
• Bilingual (facility-specific) in order to effectively communicate with patients who may speak different languages.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide outstanding customer service.
• Strong computer skills and experience with phone systems and paging systems.
