MMA is looking for a seasoned Healthcare Market Sector Business Development Leader to work directly with the firm’s Principals to cultivate new opportunities for our firm within the healthcare market.

Candidates should ideally bring a strong interest in both sales and marketing, as well as healthcare architecture and design. Architectural design experience/understanding is beneficial but not required.

The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Participate with the firm’s Principals in the development of an MMA Healthcare Marketing Strategy, documenting, and administering the healthcare marketing plan throughout the year. Plan should include potential project pursuits, advancing expertise, and identifying advertisement, sponsorships, or other opportunities which will strengthen MMA’s reputation in the healthcare market sector.
• Identify potential PR engagements and methods which will enhance MMA’s image as a prominent architectural firm in the healthcare market sector. Promote MMA’s services and abilities through outreach, publications, news releases, social media, and creative ways to expand brand-identity in the healthcare market.
• Participate in speaking engagements and prepare articles to promote MMA’s accomplishments and skills within the architecture industry and healthcare markets.
• Attend healthcare conferences for networking and promotion of MMA’s architectural design services. Track, coordinate, and manage healthcare specific events, trade shows, speaking engagements & marketing efforts. Support, prepare, and coordinate healthcare event & trade show sponsorship or attendance.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with hospitals, board of directors, healthcare facility managers, administrators, healthcare leaders and organizations to develop a solid network of connections. Update healthcare marketing contacts weekly and attend in-house healthcare BD meetings as required.

Develop RFQ/RFP responses for new healthcare project pursuits, while being responsible for meeting RFQ/RFP deadlines, the overall quality and appearance of the proposal (graphic and content), generation of customized content specific to each RFQ/RFP, coordination of design team information, layout, binding, and physical or electronic delivery of materials.
