What you will be doing

You will join an inclusive, supportive team that works well together to provide care to people with mental health. Whether you have experience as a Support Worker, Healthcare Assistant or Care Worker, you will use your knowledge and skills to help support people lead a valued and fulfilled life.

Full-time/ Part time, Days/Nights available. - Average 40.25 /hours per week - Shift Work (2-week Rota basis of 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next week - the Rota includes nights and weekend working).

Where you will be working

Location: Hillview Hospital, Hillside, Ebbw Vale, Monmouthshire, United Kingdom, NP23 5YA

Hillview Hospital is a low secure service for young women aged 13-18 with a wide range of disorders and complex needs. The 18-bed service is set over two wards with each having a homely feel to support young people in feeling settled and ready to engage in treatment. There are two classrooms and a separate IT suite for on-site learning.

The aim at Hillview Hospital is to deliver, treat and empower each young person to live a safe and independent life, enabling them to reach their full potential. Treatment is led by the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) which is made up of a Child and Adolescent Consultant, Doctors, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Teachers, and Support Workers.
