Position Title: Long Term Care Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time (FT)
Department: LTC Nursing
Reports to: Director of Nursing Services

What You'll Do
- Perform resident assessment and identify changes in condition. Document all findings, interventions, and their effectiveness. Review and update care plans as needed.
- Provide nursing care to residents, including but not limited to the administration of medications and treatments within the RN scope of practice.
- Demonstrate leadership, provide supervision and assist nursing personnel as needed to ensure quality resident care. Make appropriate assignments to Med Aides and CNAs. You are responsible for education and growth of staff you may supervise.
- Receive, document, transcribe, communicate, verify, and implement orders received by providers.
- Assist with admission, discharge, and transfers of residents.
- Notify families and physicians as needed of resident changes of condition.
What You Need
- Leadership qualities
- Must provide care and develop rapport with aged residents with a genuine interest in nursing and a desire to attend the elderly.
- Must be alert and trained to recognize changes in conditions, such as medical reactions, behaviors, moods, and physical conditions.
- This position required graduation from an accredited school of nursing and a current license in the state of Nebraska. This position also requires BLS certification.
