JOB OVERVIEW
We are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to manage the operations in strict accordance with its PADEP permit and governing local, state, and federal regulations. The Heavy Equipment Operator must be able to adhere, in its entirety, to the operational and financial plan established for the facility. The driver must be able to operate excavators, dozers, loaders and dump trucks.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the safe and efficient operations of equipment.
• Operate a variety of heavy equipment on site and adhere to the strict local, state, federal and company regulations.
• Always keeps safety first by operating equipment in a responsible and proper way for completing the tasks to be performed.
• Maintains any related records required, i.e. time sheets, work orders, special requests, etc...
• Assist with various onsite operations directed by the site supervisor
• Maintains the equipment is properly serviced and inspected daily before/after use. Reports any maintenance issues on vehicle condition report and informs operations/maintenance manager.
• Cleans equipment daily to ensure the vehicle meets company standards. This includes inside the cab and ensuring all mud and collected material is removed from the operating surfaces and grease fittings.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time by supervisor or company management

REQUIREMENTS

• Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment
• Requires a high degree of attention and considerable dexterity in the control of the equipment to prevent damage to the vehicle, injury to self, and care for the property.
• Must be able to work every other Saturday
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

SCHEDULE

• 10-hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability: every other Saturday half day
