Heavy Equipment Shop Service Diesel Technician / Mechanic
Job description
The semi-truck repair shop located in Joliet, IL (Rockdale) is looking for an experienced mechanic. The candidate must be a knowledgeable and hard-working individual to repair and maintain diesel semi-trucks in accordance with factory and industry standards.
Must be able to work on suspension, king pin, valve adjustment, brakes, oil change, troubleshoot and perform general repairs on company equipment.

Requirements:
1. Being able to work on aftertreatment system
2. Clutch replacement
3. Work on DD15, DD13, D13, cummins engines
4. Perform paccar engine diagnostics
5. Perform electrical and computer diagnostics
6. Be able to program transmissions
7. Work on I shift transmission , Ultra shift transmission , DT12 transmission
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $100.00 per hour
