Job description
Procare Therapy is seeking a Science Teacher to work with 7th - 12th-grade students in higher level classes: biology, physical science, etc. This is a contract position for the remainder of the 2022-2023 school year with possible renewal in 2023-2024. The Science Teacher will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, grading assignments, and providing a positive learning environment for all students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach science classes to 7th-12th-grade students in higher level classes: biology, physical science, etc.
- Develop and implement lesson plans and classroom activities
- Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback to students
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to promote student success
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
- Active teaching license/certification in the state of North Dakota
- Previous experience teaching science at the secondary level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation:
Pay will range from $28-$38+ an hour pending experience, credentials, and budget. More details will be provided during the interview.
