Looking for a job where you can help people? We are hiring a full time care coordinator for a busy home care agency. Must have scheduling experience. Responsible for working with clients and caregivers as well as scheduling visits.

Staffing Coordinator Responsibilities
  • Improve weekly service hours and reduce open hour balances
  • Make scheduling decisions that are within the best interest of the company and work with the team to ensure agency goals are met
  • Take part in all incoming/outgoing calls/text related to scheduling
  • Fulfill long/short term scheduling needs using the interoffice software (FACES)
  • Assign home health aides to new/existing clients as needed
  • Manage day to day operations by addressing changes in caregiver availability
  • Address all calls related to caregiver call outs/tardy arrivals/no call no shows
  • Confirm/verify clients/caregivers schedules and make immediate changes as necessary to ensure client coverage is met on a daily basis
  • Notify all clients/caregivers of any schedule change made
  • Maintain proper staffing levels to ensure proper coverage for all clients
  • Take action on all FACES alerts to ensure they are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all clients, caregivers, office personnel and agency matters
  • Maintain and update client/caregiver schedules daily
  • Enter and maintain accurate records for clients/home health aides
  • Provide professional interactions with clients, caregivers and peers
  • Monitor and ensure proper utilization of hours for all clients
  • Interact with case managers for all urgent client needs/changes in condition
  • Field new client inquiries/referrals and take action on new cases
  • Coordinate with the HR Recruiter and inform of additional hiring needs; to ensure coverage areas are adequately staffed
  • Work with the CCC to ensure caregivers receive additional training, address field issues and recognize positives on both employee and client feedback
  • Oversee on-call schedule and participate in the on-call rotation
  • Attain quarterly goals as established in the annual performance evaluation
  • Execute tasks according to our policy manual and AHCA regulations
  • Execute various tasks to promote business, including:
    • Client interaction
    • Recruitment
    • Advertising
  • Maintain a safe, neat and clean work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00
