We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Home Energy Assessor! In this role, you'll act as a local on-site program and company representative to residential customers. You'll install energy-efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency assessments, verifications, and other technical data gathering activities in residential homes through the Palo Alto region. You'll identify opportunities for home energy efficiency improvements and assist with determining project scope and deferred maintenance issues in the home. You'll support Energy Advisors in their efforts to determine Program eligibility for income qualified customers. And, you'll troubleshoot technical problems and issues, and recommend solutions.

• Live in or near the Palo Alto area
• Conduct residential energy audits
• Record inspection results, customer and contractor interactions in field data collection tools to adhere to program requirements
• Provide input and status updates to program staff
• Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and contractors; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers
• Travel throughout a defined territory
• Coordinate successfully with Energy Advisors and other internal and external partners

For this exciting career opportunity, you will have…

• 0-1 year of relevant industry experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associates Degree preferred
• BPI Certification preferred
• Registered Home Improvement Salesperson (HIS) or eligible to register immediately post-hire
• Must reside in the state of California, or must be willing to relocate

Compensation Range: $22.00 - $26.00 / hourly
