Alliance Homecare has an URGENT NEED for a MALE Certified Home Health Aide in Point Lookout, NY!

$500 SIGN ON BONUS / Case-specific rate of $22 per hour!

Meet Client C:

Shifts are Mon, Weds, Friday from 10am-7pm (9hrs).

Alzheimer’s diagnosis, 81 year old male. Fall risk but hasn’t had one in over a year, needs ambulation assistance and uses a rollator walker. Continent but needs assistance when toileting/showering for ambulation. Can make needs known. Likes the pool, bike rides and doing puzzles – needs HHA who can assist in pool and other lifestyle activites. Lives at home with wife.

WALK-INs WELCOMED - Every Tuesday at our office in Mineola, NY! 9am-5pm at 34 Willis Ave. Mineola, NY 11501 !

OVERTIME Available - offering up to 20 hours OT / 60 total hours per week!

Home Health Aides will provide the following tasks as indicated on the individualized plan of care:

• Perform home management tasks including housekeeping, laundry, shopping, and errands
• Prepare and serve simple modified diets according to instruction and assists with feeding
• Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming
• Assist with toileting including the use of bedpan, commode or toilet
• Assist with transfers and ambulation including use of cane, walker and wheelchair
• Assist with medication as specified on plan of care
• Provide routine skin care
• Measure and record vital signs as directed
• Observe and report all changes to RN
• Demonstrate competence in performing necessary skills
• Complete all other duties assigned within the HHA scope of practice

HHA Job Requirements:

• Must have an active New York State Home Health Aide Certificate
• Must have at least one year of HHA experience
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Fluency in English
• MUST BE NYS LICENSED DRIVER
