HOME VISITOR

Huntingdon County Child & Adult Development Corporation is seeking Home Visitors for our Early Head Start Program. Position is located in Huntingdon/Mount Union, PA.

We seek applicants who have a positive and reliable work ethic, who can work full time/full year 40 hours per week with flexibility to occasionally work evenings and weekends. And of equal importance is the successful applicant will have a passion for working with children and their families.

We are looking for someone who...

* Demonstrated competency to plan and implement home-based learning experiences that ensure effective implementation of the home visiting curriculum and promote children's progress across the standards described in the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework: Ages Birth to Five, including for children with disabilities and dual language learners, as appropriate, and to build respectful, culturally responsive, and trusting relationships with families.

* Must possess a valid PA Driver's License, 3 years of driving experience, and a clean driving record.

The Home Visitor is responsible for carrying out the operations and delivering of services of the Early Head Start Home Based Program in compliance with HCCADC policies, Head Start performance standards and the Program Plan. This position provides Case Management Services, Health Services, Direct Services (including Home Visiting), and Coordination with other programs and community agencies to service the families in the Early Head Start Program.

Job Type: Full-Year/Full-Time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

* 40 hours per week

* Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends as required.

Education:

* Minimum of a home-based Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an Associate or Bachelor Degree. (We will train!)

Work Location:

* This position will be located in Huntingdon/Mount Union, PA based on the needs of the program..

* Work is performed in the office and in client homes.
