This position will ensure all guests are greeted and seated in a friendly and courteous manner.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests in a warm and welcoming manner
- Attend to and anticipate guests needs
- Seat guests, and introduce server
- Assist managers in opening and closing duties
- Answer phone calls
- Control heavy volume at Restaurant entrance
- Inform the guest about buffets
- Be familiar with menu to assist with questions as needed
- Assign guest checks
- Perform other duties as assigned
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.- Must be able to multi task.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time or for an entire shift.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10lbs without assistance.
- Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. Part Time shift is Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings
- Prior host experience preferred, but not required.
- Must have unexpired TIPS alcohol training certification prior to starting
