Hotel Housekeeper WEEKENDS REQUIRED

Job Overview: Housekeeper

Responsible for the cleaning of our guests rooms, including vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, and cleaning bathrooms with the charge to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and to ensure our guests have an outstanding stay.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Cleaning Guest Rooms:

· Ensure each assigned guest room is cleaned according to brand standards and best practices.

· Confirm all items are restocked including paper items, linens, towels, soap, and shampoo.

· Inspect rooms for repairs and fixes and alert manager and maintenance as needed.

· Clean exterior hallways, windows, and entry way according to hotel standards.

· Restock housekeeping cart each shift.

Team Work:

· Responsible to know, understand, and fulfill the InnTrusted Mission Statement.

· Create guest satisfaction by providing fast, friendly and genuine hospitality.

· Give personal attention, take personal responsibility, and use teamwork when providing guest service.

· Respond to all emergency situations in accordance with established policies and procedures.

· Responsible for maintaining hotel key security system.

Guest Loyalty:

· Assist guests with basic knowledge of local area to facilitate guest needs such as giving directions, identifying local attractions, etc.

· Listen, apologize with empathy, find a solution, and follow through when resolving guest problems.

· Follow the lost and found program.

Physical Requirements:

· Walking and standing required throughout the entire shift.

· Reaching, bending, carrying, stooping throughout the entire shift.

· Lifting up to 50 pounds.

· Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and how to safely use them.

· Report safety hazards, accidents, and injuries immediately.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
