Cleaning Technician

TITLE: Cleaning Technician (Cleaning Tech)

RESPONSIBLE TO: Office Manager

SUPERVISES: (No supervisory responsibilities; may lead a team of cleaning techs on occasion)

Purpose of Position: To provide cleaning services to the businesses customers as stipulated in the Work Orders.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Cleaning

• Learn, train in and follow the SparkleMafia cleaning system
• Provide cleaning services according to the Work Order
• Follow all company policies and procedures on the job
• Report in/out of jobs using designated process (app, phone/text office)
• Inspect own work.
• Pick up needed equipment for special cleaning jobs
• Complete any job-related ‘paperwork’ as required by company processes
• Maintain a 4 star and above customer satisfaction rating

Confidentiality

• Keep safe all private/confidential customer information and property, such as but not limited to Work Orders, alarm codes, customer whereabouts, house contents/customer possessions, customer health and customer habits
• Pick up and return to the office promptly (per company processes) any customer payment (cash, check) and customer keys that are not checked out to you.

Communications

• Communicate with the customer while in the home performing job duties
• Leave a note for the customer if they are not home to communicate any needs and/or issues that arose.
• Communicating any customers needs and/or issues to the company customer service person.
• Report to the customer service person if conditions in the home change or if you find the home in a condition not consistent in the Work Order
• Responsible for own smart phone capable of call, text, email and ap use.

Marketing

• Leave 5 door hangers on surrounding homes front doors
• Leave behind promotional materials and company gifts as requested by the office manager
• Carry SparkleMafia business cards and direct all inquiries about cleaning (from prospective clients) or increased cleaning services to the office
• Display SparkleMafia flag, magnets or decals on your car during hours worked.

Safety

• Follow company safety policies and procedures
• Carry Safety Data Sheets (SDS) sheets for cleaning products in work binder for easy access and consultation

Professionally representing the company

• Appear clean, well-groomed and professional while working; wearing the company-stipulated uniform/work attire.
• Your vehicle should appear clean inside and out, and washed (at least once a month).

Taking care of work supplies

• Wash/clean supplies including cleaning towels/cloths
• Refilling cleaners by stopping by the office to pick them up
• Replenish cleaning tools and equipment by alerting the office if tools and equipment are needed and stopping by the office to pick up items
• Familiarize yourself with customer and SparkleMafia vacuums. Use and care for as intended. Empty, check and clean filters as needed and return to designated location.

Transportation

• Responsible for own transportation and related costs such as gas and insurance

Technicians are equipped with masks, gloves and shoe covers. Disinfectant cleaner and hand sanitizer are part of your cleaning kit that will be provided. Social distancing and CDC guidelines are followed.
