We are seeking reliable, compassionate Lead Direct Care Staff who are interested in having a positive impact on the lives of others.
LPC, Inc. is looking to hire full-time House Manager to support adults with developmental disabilities and oversee group home operations.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOUSE MANAGER
As a House Manager, you begin each shift ready to help adults with developmental disabilities live their best lives as independently as possible. You have made it your mission to ensure the comfort and safety of each client. In our residential group home, you assist our residents with activities of daily living such as administering medication, cooking meals, performing personal hygiene, and transportation to medical appointments. You also assist in the implementation of individual service plans and behavioral plans. Using effective teaching and mentoring techniques, you teach them new skills and help them achieve goals. Based on each individual's preferences and plans, you encourage their interests and drive them to community outings and recreational activities. You are happy to help them find greater access to the community. You are conscientious about their health and safety and keeping documentation accurate and up-to-date. In addition to the above-mentioned direct care job duties, the House Manager maintains the operations of the group home such as: staff scheduling, staff performance coordination, budgeting, grocery /supplies shopping, communication with doctors' offices and parents/guardians, perform safety drills, and more. You are scheduled to work Monday -Friday 1p-9p, however you provide afterhours on-call support and coverage nights/weekends for any direct care staff issues/absences.
Requirements: The ideal candidate for this position are patient, compassionate, nurturing, professional and have a calming demeanor. Successful candidates for the Residential Home Manager role are able to perform the physical components of the role including being able to lift and move up to 50lbs., are comfortable working in stressful situations, and are able to handle difficult situations with ease.
Additional requirements for this entry level manager role include: High School degree or GED required; Preferred 1 years of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting; Physical free of all communicable diseases ; Drivers’ License (GA or bordering state) with good driving record ;Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed; Ability to lift between 20 and 50 lbs. and provide CPR after certification; English (fluent - understand, speak and write). Ability to pass background check and drug screen CPR, first aid, CPI and Medication Proxy training.
