HOUSE KEEPER
JOB TITLE REPORTS TO DEPARTMENT STATUS
House Keeper Maintenance Supervisor Administrative Non-Exempt
JOB SUMMARY
The House Keeper is responsible for the overall upkeep of the community interior image. The incumbent assists the maintenance staff in ensuring that the community meets the quality maintenance standards set by Veritee Property Solutions.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to represent Veritee Property Solutions in a professional manner at all times.
Ability to consistently demonstrate a professional, courteous attitude when dealing with residents, coworkers and the general public.
Demonstrate professionalism by wearing clothing and accessories that are appropriate for the environment, including wearing a uniform if required.
Ability to work well independently, and pay close attention to detail.
Ability to develop good working relationships and effectively communicate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager.
Daily inspect community grounds, and properly dispose of litter and debris, including, but not limited to, cigarette butts, papers, cans, leaves, etc.
Sweep and maintain interior hallways, offices, and all other areas as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
If applicable, monitor pool and spa chemicals daily and maintain log books as required by the health department. Maintain and clean pool and spa as needed.
Maintain exterior/interior lighting by changing light bulbs as needed.
Install and/or remove external temporary signage and decorations.
Maintain the grounds equipment, which may include repairs and preventive maintenance.
Keep inventory of all supplies, advising the Maintenance Supervisor of reordering status.
Report any maintenance concerns or unsafe conditions or reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Perform emergency maintenance as needed.
Provide assistance to the maintenance staff as needed.
May assist in painting and dry-walling vacant and/or occupied apartments and common areas.
Deliver communications to residents as needed.
Provide assistance to other staff members as required

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
