To assure cleanliness and a sanitation grade of above 90 at all times.
Job Requirements:
· Annual Tuberculosis screening
· General cleaning of entire facility with the exception of kitchen. Facility maintained in an uncluttered, clean and orderly manner. Areas include:
o Floors
o Dusting
o Windows
o Vacuuming
o Bathrooms
o Laundry
o Attention to special areas such as baseboard and door facings.
o Careful of wet floors in resident areas to assure resident safety.
· Awareness of furnishing repairs
· Elimination of unpleasant odors in a timely manner
· Maintaining supplies of soap, paper towels, tissue, and hand sanitizer in appropriate areas.
· Emptying and cleaning all trash cans.
· Taking of inventory, purchasing chemical and housekeeping supplies so as to operate with the facility budget.
· House keeping receipts must be signed and kept on file for the administrator.
· Help maintain the self-respect, personal dignity, and physical safety to each resident.
· Report any accident/incident to the SIC or Administrator.
· Work cooperatively with all other staff and relate favorably to resident and families.
· Be familiar with confidentiality of residents and their medical records.
· Be familiar with and able to apply all the facilities accident, fire safety and emergency procedures.
· Be familiar with Resident’s Bill of Rights and assist residents with exercising these rights.
· Assure careful treatment of facility equipment and utilization of supplies.
· Be responsible for reading and adhering to all Communities policies.
· Required participation in job related Continuing Education.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.

· Residents always come first, and their needs will be met unless there is a conflict with the needs of others or the organization as a whole.
