Prior housekeeping experience is desired.

This position is responsible for a variety of housekeeping duties within the hospital to include patient and non-patient areas. These duties are to include, but are not limited to, high and low dusting, damp wiping, wall washing, sweeping, dry and wet mopping, vacuuming, cleaning of windows and restrooms, floor care, picking up and disposing of biohazard and regulated medical waste, terminal cleaning of patient rooms upon patient discharge. These duties are necessary for providing the patient population, visitors and staff of the facility with a clean, sanitary and safe environment. This position will also be responsible for assisting in cleaning the external grounds of the facility, and to assist with any needs due to inclement weather. This position can expect to provide these services to patients of all age groups.

Hours 11pm to 7:30am

Ability to read and communicate in the English language. High School graduate or equivalent preferred. Excellent customer service skills required.
