Overview:

Edgewater Federal Solutions is seeking a HPC Application Engineer to support the IT program at a major national laboratory. In this position you will work with a group which provides capabilities and in-depth support for scientific and engineering applications. The team provides Tier 0 to 3 support for high performance computing systems.
Responsibilities:
- Support clients and customers with existing software and hardware by completing requests that have been submitted.
- Help improve software and architecture by working with other teams to increase efficiencies within the environment.
- High School Diploma and 2 years of experience
- U.S. Citizenship is required per contract to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance.
- Experience with visualization tools such as Insight or Paraview
- Experience with Web Applications
- Experience with Frameworks such as Rails, Django, MeteorJS
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies.
