S&G Carpet is looking to hire an HR Coordinator for its administrative office in Rocklin, CA!
HR Coordinator: This is a FULL-TIME position that requires in-office work. This position is not a WFH/hybrid position.
This is a salaried position that requires candidates be available Monday through Friday, during normal "banker's hours." Exact schedule to be set upon hire, but will likely be 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to start.
Primary Purpose:
The S&G HR Coordinator assists the Director of HR with developing and enacting company-wide human resources policies and procedures, and works to ensure that these policies and procedures are compliant with federal and state regulations.
The HR Coordinator assists the Director of HR with human resources functions including record keeping, file maintenance, administration of benefits, and employee onboarding. The HR Coordinator works to maintain positive employee relations between staff and the Company.
General Duties:
- Assists with administering benefits to staff; helping to coordinate enrollment and acting as a liaison between Company and insurer
- Handles clerical functions including making copies, printing emails, scanning documents and sending them to the appropriate parties
- Ensure Company stays compliant with ever-changing state and federal regulations
- Assists with record keeping and upkeep of personnel files
- Assists with onboarding of new hires
- Assists with processing terminations
- Assists with processing incoming mail
- Works with Payroll to process court-mandated employee wage garnishments, deductions, etc.
- Answers employee requests/questions via phone call and email
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director of HR
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field
- At least two years of related experience preferred
- SHRM/HRCI certificate preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Be self-motivated and adept at problem solving
- Able to clearly communicate with Company employees at all levels
- Able to engage in professional behavior with Company staff, customers, and insurers
- Able to work cohesively with Director of HR, Payroll, and other members of the administrative team
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salaried position at $75,000 to $78,000 annually
- Available benefits include: Medical, vision, dental, and life insurance
- Paid holidays, vacation, and personal time
- 401K plan available after one year with company
