Hilltop Trailer Sales, Inc., the parent company of Hilltop Camper & RV and Boomerang Marine & Sports has an opening for an experienced Recruiter/HR Manager to join its team.

As our Recruiter/HR Manager, your passion for high-volume recruiting, knowledge to manage the complete benefits package, and Human Resources leadership will be used to help our 6 locations recruit and retain top talent.

Depending on the current needs approximately 30-50% of this position’s time will be directly involved in the full cycle recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding. The remaining time will be spent managing benefits administration, policy interpretation and development, employee relations, supervisor coaching, performance management, safety, workers' compensation, leave management, employee retention, & employee development. This is a single incumbent HR department.

Qualified candidates will have the following attributes:

• Obsession with creatively sourcing talented individuals to continue improving our customer’s passion for the outdoors.
• Ability to continue to build a fun and positive employee experience that creates an atmosphere consistent with selling and servicing fun.
• Passion for ensuring our employees remain educated and follow the proper health and safety guidelines.
• At least 2 years of experience in HR Management with an employee base of approx. 125-200 employees.
• Well-rounded HR Generalist experience, required.
• Degree in Human Resources or related field.
• Thorough knowledge of Federal and MN employment laws and regulations.
• Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate them when appropriate.

General hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Our business employs approximately 165 employees within our 6 stores in Fridley, Oronoco, Brainerd, Alexandria, & Melrose MN. We sell and service campers, RVs, boats, powersports, parts, accessories, and apparel. Our employees help our customers find the right solution for their outdoor recreation needs through consultative selling, appropriate financing options, a variety of parts and accessories, and quality service to their units. We're a one-stop shop for all our customers' needs.
