RAEL Fire Protection, the leading fire protection company in the NY Tri-State area, is a fourth-generation full-service fire protection company that has been providing uninterrupted design, installation, inspection, maintenance, testing, and repair services for over 85 years.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resource Manager to join our team in New York.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance with labor laws and regulations. This is a full-time position based in our New Hyde Park office with work at home flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full cycle of recruitment and selection, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, and background checks.
- Oversee the performance management process, including setting goals and objectives, conducting performance evaluations, and providing feedback and coaching to employees.
- Manage employee relations, including investigating and resolving employee complaints, grievances, and conflicts.
- Conduct regular training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and prepare reports for senior management as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in human resources, Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software applications.
SHRM certification preferred.
