Job Overview:

MERS Goodwill is looking for experienced, passionate, and high energy Recruiter to join at our Cape Girardeau Office located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The position is full-time weekdays, has excellent benefits, will be responsible for, interviewing, job posting, formulating relationships with schools and universities.

Essential/Primary Functions:

  • Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives
  • Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media, job boards
  • Build applicant sources by researching and contacting colleges, universities, and internet sites
  • Design and update job descriptions
  • Implement company's online ATS.
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms
  • Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
  • 25% of traveling required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Human Resources or strongly related field required.
  • MA/MS degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • Two years of HR experience preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and/or experience working with the HRIS database.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail orientated and able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and independent transportation required
