Hot N Juicy Crawfish welcomes applications for our corporate team in the Falls Church, VA office. Hot N Juicy is a unique, dynamic, and growing restaurant with 13 locations across the US. We are looking for a self-motivated and energetic leader to advance their career in our Human Resources Department. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be an important member of the team and will be assisting in many aspects of employee relations, recruitment, and benefits.

In this role, you will:

• Be creative in recruitment of staff for the restaurant industry
• Track data from individual sites
• Create and track budgets
• Achieve operational objectives on a daily basis
• Screen managerial and corporate level candidate application materials and conduct interviews
• Conduct reference checks
• Contribute to payroll efforts
• Address Workman’s Compensation claims
• Research new initiatives
• Draft new and updated policies

Requirements:

• 1-3 years experience in Human Resources
• Experience investigating employee complaints
• Ability to work 50-55 hours per week
• Competency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other programs
• Proficiency in HR law and benefits structures
• High levels of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work with individuals of differing backgrounds
• Ability to work independently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
