HSE Coordinator
Job description
EEW American Offshore Structures Inc. (EEW AOS) is currently establishing its US operations and is looking for a full-time HSE Coordinator III position. This position will work directly with the HSE Team to drive directives during both the Construction & Production phase in the organization.
Job responsibilities:
The HSE Coordinator is responsible for promoting, coordinating, and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) programs in the workplace. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and experience in HSE management to ensure compliance with regulations and standards, reduce workplace hazards, and minimize risk to employees and the environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with local and national regulations, and company standards.
- Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Conduct HSE training for employees to ensure that they are knowledgeable and capable of performing their duties safely and effectively.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HSE matters, ensuring that they are aware of their responsibilities and are complying with established policies and procedures.
- Review and analyze HSE data, prepare reports, and provide recommendations to improve HSE performance.
- Coordinate emergency response procedures and drills to ensure readiness in case of emergencies.
- Maintain and update HSE documentation and records, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Keep abreast of new developments in HSE regulations, standards, and best practices and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Occupational Health & Safety, or similar Trade School Education
- 0-2 years of experience in construction or heavy equipment manufacturing
- OSHA 30 Hour (General Industry or Construction) or ability to attain within 6 months of employment.
- Experience conducting audits and inspections.
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Knowledge of Environmental regulations including Title V, Stormwater, and Waste Management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
