About the role
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to work within a small, busy HR team. Working from home, you will play a key role in delivering the full range of HR services, including (but not limited to):
Ensuring people plans are delivered by driving the implementation of key activities and initiatives
Effective management of all Employee Relations casework
Leading on TUPE activities to manage the end-to-end TUPE process. This will include running group and individual consultation processes, assessing risks and potential issues and liaising with HR representatives of competitor organisations
Providing advice and support to employees in a timely and consistent fashion
Ensuring that HR service standards are continually improved through effective audit/review and enhancement of Operating Models, policies, procedures and the development of team members
Building and maintaining effective working relations with a variety of stakeholders with a real understanding of operational and business challenges
Managing and implementing HR projects and change initiatives
Oversight of relevant HR system (currently iTrent), working with HR Administration team to ensure all relevant actions are completed in a timely and accurate fashion
Support HR Systems Advisor with input into building and testing various aspects of the system, ensuring it is fit for purpose
Through effective use of data and analysis, support department improvements and initiatives using company recognised action planning and project management tools, sharing trends and relevant data with wider HR team
About you
It is essential that you have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a generalist Human Resources role and are CIPD Level 5 qualified or demonstrable experience at that level.
You must have extensive experience of advising and influencing Operational Management on all aspects of the employee lifecycle and good knowledge of managing TUPE processes, both in and out of an organisation. Experience in integrated HR and payroll systems is also key; iTrent knowledge would be desirable as we are in the process of building and implementing various modules of this system across VoiceAbility.
You must also be confident in working on your own initiative, taking accountability for the workload and people plans in your own area, ensuring that HR delivers on its commitments. Internal customer service satisfaction is one of the key drivers in ensuring we are providing the service our employees and managers require.
