ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Answers incoming phone calls and greets public in the front office
- Responsible for accounts payable items and communicating with corporate office
- Responsible for facility recruitment: arranging interviews, coordinating hiring efforts, and onboarding all new employees.
- Maintains all personnel records, assist with vacation and sick leave accruals
- Is the facility point of contact for payroll related items
- Performs other office duties as directed by the Administrator
- Maintain a sufficient inventory of various supplies and order new equipment as needed
- Support superiors with office related matters and manage direct reports
- Take full responsibility for all projects initiated
PHYSICAL, COGNITIVE, AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work-day.
- Ability to remain calm under stress.
- Must function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with residents, personnel and support agencies.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, tact, courtesy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and at times hostile residents within the facility.
- Must be able to lift and transfer a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Outstanding communication skills, both in written and verbal communication
- Leadership skills, including the ability to delegate, supervise and see tasks through from start to finish
- Project management experience, especially of projects involving complex problems and multiple competing interests and factors, is essential
EDUCATION/EXPERIECE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Organizes and performs human resources (HR) functions to include payroll, employee file maintenance, benefits, facility accounts payable and supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems. Providing counseling on facility policies, procedures and actively involved in recruitment by posting ads and managing the hiring process.
Maintain Rights of Residents as set forth by the Texas Department of Health Laws and Regulations.
