The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant County is currently accepting applications for Human Resources Assistant. Human Resources Assistant is responsible for administrative duties, records management and data entry, backgrounds and employment verification, processing payroll, payroll system effectiveness, and administrative compliance.

Duties include but not limited to: answering phone, making copies, filing, preparation for trainings and meetings, running reports, trouble shooting and problem solving, accurate data entry and file maintenance for both hard files and electronic files, conducting background screens, conduct employment verifications, scheduling interviews, assist with hiring process, process payroll, ensure effectiveness of payroll, monitor hours worked, ensure effectiveness of payroll system, process garnishments, and administrative compliance.

This position takes place in an office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately loud and at times loud.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• Associates Degree in Human Resources, Business or similar major OR high school diploma with equivalent experience
• PHR certification preferred
• Payroll experience preferred

• Must be able to pass any and all required background screens and drug screens at any time
• Position requires driving personal vehicle and company vehicle. Candidate must have satisfactory driving record, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and liability insurance for operation of a motor vehicle relevant to carrying out duties and to be covered under company insurance the requirement is for the employee to be a minimum of age 21

Salary & Benefits

Minimum starting pay: $20.00
