Our world-class team in Massillon, OH is seeking a passionate and highly motivated Human Resources Business Partner.


As a Human Resources Business Partner your responsibilities will be
:

  • Partner with leaders to develop and execute HR strategies that are focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
  • Strategize with leaders by providing people analytics that drive recommendations to improve performance, retention, and the employee experience.
  • Accountable for executing key initiatives and projects with talent management including leader assessment, performance management cycle, employee development and succession planning partnering with Human Resources centers of excellence and business leaders.

Employee Relations

  • Assists managers and employees in understanding and implementing company policies related to performance, discipline, and related topics.; provides guidance and recommendations for resolution of issues.
  • Manages and resolves employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations related to corrective action. May seek guidance from Senior HR Business Partner and/or Director of Human Resources for identifying resolution.
  • Provides counsel and decision-making expertise to leadership related to employee relations, and engagement.
  • Acts as the liaison between the Human Resource centers of excellence and business leaders. Provides direction on compensation, talent acquisition and benefit related issues.

Employee Engagement and Development

  • Utilize engagement survey data and translate into insights through data analysis that drives deliberate action plans at the appropriate levels.
  • Work with leaders to develop programs and methods for supporting employee engagement.
  • Work with leaders to facilitate a growth mindset culture, career development and personal growth plans for all employees.
  • Working with leaders to identify high potential employees to ensure they receive development opportunities.

Performance Management

  • Ensure that organization-wide performance management initiatives hold leaders accountable and are focused on improving employee performance.
  • Assist Leaders to execute performance management practices that meet business needs. Provide guidance regarding compensation and performance management practices.

Talent Attraction

  • Partner with hiring managers to evaluate talent needs and ensure acceptable staffing levels (current and future).
  • Partner with talent acquisition for interviewing and selection to ensure a consistent, high quality talent pipeline. Assist hiring managers with the effective use of selection processes, selection criteria and onboarding tools.

A strong Human Resources Business Partner will possess
:

  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably as an HR Generalist serving many levels of leaders and various team member populations
  • Proven experience interacting and influencing all levels of organization with confidence, building trust and rapport. Ability to provide courageous and decisive advice.
  • Experience and strength in managing change leadership in high-growth, cross-functional organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area (Business, HR, Communications, etc.) or equivalent experience
  • PHR or SPHR desired
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving ability, and judgment particularly in ambiguous or complex situations. Understands and considers broad implications of business unit needs or decisions.
  • Remains calm under pressure and is able to lead thru difficult (i.e. emotional, complex, legal) situations, with unwavering integrity
  • Strong time management and project management abilities
  • Highly proficient written and verbal communication skills
