Human Resources Business Partner - Inside IR35
Contract Term: 6 months with potential for extension
Contracting Authority: UK Research and Innovation (part of the Department for Business,
Energy and Industrial Strategy)
Location: hybrid (2 days/month on site in Swindon) plus occasional paid travel to other locations
As HRBPyour main responsibilities would be:
Provide HR insight and input into the development of business strategy, including responsibility for the delivery of HR strategy, in line with operational business needs.- Develop a programme of interventions to develop capability and capacity.
- Create and deliver HR programmes, supporting cultural and behavioural change.
- Provide partnering and support to business leaders and managers in all aspects of people matters, including people strategies, inclusion, talent, capacity and capability and recruitment.
- Analyse and gather insight from HR and business data analytics, performance, surveys and other feedback.
- Feed insight into the wider HR function, identifying and addressing continuous improvement opportunities.
- Build effective stakeholder relationships within the business, wider HR, and external stakeholders.
You’ll have relevant experience in:
Previous experience of acting as a HRBP, ideally within central government.- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Superb attention to detail.
- CIPD qualified (desirable).

Any rates of payment quoted will reflect the gross rate per day for the assignment, and will be subject to appropriate taxes and statutory costs. As such the payment to the intermediary and your income resulting from this contract will be different.
