Job Description Summary:
Join us in the Wine & Spirits industry on the RNDC Human Resources Team supporting our Pacific NW business. This role serves as the trusted HR Business Partner to our Washington and Oregon state business leaders and their organizations. The scope of responsibility includes managing and executing, independently and through collaboration with others, the RNDC HR Strategic Plan. This role will be seated in Auburn, WA or Portland, OR (depending on final candidate's location) and reports to our West Region HR Director.
Job Description:
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Relationship management, HR consulting and partnership with the business and HR colleagues to influence successful business outcomes
- Provide organizational development support; work with business teams and functions to understand current and future business goals and trends that may impact workforce needs and initiative
- Engage with business leaders on their people strategy and how to effectively deliver through workforce planning and organization design and structure
- Leads and communicates as an effective change agent in an environment of merging systems and continuous improvement
- Visible leadership of major initiatives related to human capital development, talent and performance management programs
- Represent and reinforce the RNDC culture with leaders, employees and external agencies, prospective candidates and customers
- Partner with Regional Training Managers, RNDC University, Talent Development and business leaders to deliver programs and initiatives to develop and attract talent
- Present solutions to issues in a concise manner to varying levels of leadership using insights based on analytics and sound business acumen
- Government reporting, understanding of State laws and programs to ensure compliance and response to inquiries regarding policies, procedures and programs.
- Lead and monitor investigations to successful resolution, minimize risk
- Direct and develop HR generalist talent
- Occasional travel required
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree and 10-15 years HR management experience and technical expertise including partnering with senior leadership and key managers on their business strategy and supervising HR generalist talent.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills and compensation expertise
- Systems savvy and proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Able to work independently and balance multiple priorities.
- Ability to think creatively and influence others
- Ability to confidently interact with leadership at all levels
- 3-5 years of experience supervising and developing HR generalist talent
- Demonstrated presentation, training facilitation, written and verbal communication skills
- Able to travel as needed.
The typical base pay range for this role is $100K – 140K. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including experience, scope and location. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.
RNDC offers a complete Benefits Package including access to: Medical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Employee Assistance Program, Health Savings Account, and 401k.
New hires will accrue 80 vacation hours per year as well as 7 holidays per year (after one year 8). Associates accrue paid sick time at one hour per 40 hours worked. RNDC complies with all state and local laws where applicable.
