Interim Human Resources Generalist

Orange, CA (Hybrid schedule onsite 2-3x/week)

We are partnering with a family owned business management office that is looking for a strong Interim HR Generalist with experience in hospitality, food & beverage, restaurants or similar industries.

Responsibilities:

· Respond to basic questions from employees and managers while coaching them on the appropriate process and directing them to other resources as needed

· Administer and maintain company benefits and leaves, including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, 401k, worker’s compensation, FMLA, and other disability leaves

·Reporting any worker's compensation injuries and liasing with legal team's for guidance.

· Support team with ensuring compliance with employment laws, company policies, safety, and company best practices

· Support company and team events while helping to build an engaged and collaborative work culture

What you’ll bring to the table:

· 3+ years’ of experience in Human Resources

· Excellent attention to detail

· Strong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to set timelines, deliver results in a timely manner, and work with leadership.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Exhibits critical thinking and good judgement

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Orange, CA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Human resources: 3 years (Required)
