Position Overview


Reporting to the Manager of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting all routine human resource functions including, but not limited to, benefits, HRIS and recruitment. This position must learn and understand the company organizational structure, policies/procedures and the life cycle of an employee.

Essential Functions (Other Duties as Assigned)


  • Support all functions and processes related to on-boarding and off-boarding of employees including background checks, new hire orientations, exit interviews etc.
  • Assist with benefits administration including enrollments and terminations for all benefit programs.
  • Audit benefit enrollments in HR database with vendors.
  • Process and audit vendor invoices
  • HR database management; including data entry and maintaining accurate record keeping.
  • Provide appropriate communications and promotes employee understanding of programs, policies, and objectives.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes.
  • Run reports from HR database for compliance reporting.
  • Deliver HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Field HR support when a new location is acquired; process to include interviewing, onboarding, data entry.

Education and Experience


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2-3 Years Human Resources Experience with Full Life Cycle Recruitment
  • Ability to work independently with effective time management (May be required to work outside of normal business hours)
  • Ability to commute to Morristown and Knoxville (Future Corporate Office)
  • Advance skills in HCM/HRIS system pertaining to data entry

Preferred:

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Experience with HR systems is preferred

Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Strong time management skills and the ability to shift priorities efficiently

Time management and ability to meet deadlines

Team player mentality. Ability to develop interpersonal relationships

Strong oral and written communication skills

Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
